You built something real. You shouldn't have to guess how it's actually doing.

The work's coming in. The jobs get done. The one piece that's missing is a clear view of the money — and that's exactly what I help with. Plain terms, no accounting degree required.

Let's start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, free, no obligation. You tell me what's going on in your business. If there's a way I can help, we'll talk about it.

Here's what changes when you work with me.

You'll finally know which jobs actually make money. Not which ones felt good — which ones put money in your pocket and which ones quietly cost you. Most owners are surprised when they see it laid out.

You'll stop getting blindsided by your bank account. No more wondering why a busy month left you scraping for payroll. You'll see where the cash actually goes — and when.

You'll know if you're even pricing right. A lot of contractors are bidding on numbers that haven't been true for years. We'll find out what your work actually costs you to deliver.

A real example

A $12 million contractor came to me reporting a 60% gross margin. On paper, an outstanding year.

When I dug in, almost $5 million in labor was sitting in overhead instead of being charged to the jobs that used it. Put it where it belonged, and the real gross margin was 27%.

Same revenue. Same business. Completely different picture — and a very different conversation about which jobs to bid, what to charge, and where the money was actually going.

He wasn't doing anything wrong. The books just weren't telling him the truth.

From a recent client

"Billy untangled credit card and job-costing issues we'd been putting off for a long time and gave us a clear picture of the numbers. He's been a steady, careful resource — we've kept working with him."

Need more than a one-time review?

Some contractors want CFO-level help on an ongoing basis — someone in their corner every month, helping make the big calls before they become problems. I take on a small number of monthly clients for that kind of work, usually after we've done a Clarity Review together.

If that's what you're looking for, we'll talk about it on the call.

About Billy Malone

I started Stravalon after more than two decades in business management and operations, including years running the financial and operational side of a family business, and more recently as a consultant working inside contractor and construction companies. The same problem came up over and over: the books were a mess, the financial reports didn't mean anything to the owner, and big decisions were being made on gut feel.

My focus is helping contractor owners understand what their numbers are actually saying — and use that to make better decisions about pricing, profitability, and where the cash is going. This isn't bookkeeping or tax work. It's financial clarity, built for owners who've never had it.
